Beautiful Soul,
There was a time when humans didn't have Google Maps.
They didn't have weather apps.
They didn't have digital calendars reminding them when the seasons were changing.
They had the sky.
For thousands of years, people watched the Sun, Moon and stars.
They noticed patterns.
They learned when to plant.
When to harvest.
When to travel.
When to prepare for change.
The stars weren't simply beautiful things above them.
They helped people find their way.
And when we look up at the night sky, we're looking at the same celestial patterns that ancient peoples watched, interpreted and built stories around for thousands of years.
Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, held particular significance in ancient Egypt. Its annual rising before sunrise was associated with the flooding of the Nile and the beginning of a new agricultural cycle — a powerful marker of renewal and the year ahead.
The Pleiades, a small cluster of stars in Taurus, were used across ancient cultures to mark seasonal transitions and important times of the agricultural year.
Orion, one of the most recognisable constellations in the night sky, carried profound meaning across ancient cultures. In Egypt, it was associated with Osiris, connecting the stars with ideas of death, resurrection and regeneration.
The stories were different. The cultures were different. But the practice was remarkably similar:
They looked up. They observed. They found meaning in patterns — and used the sky to help them understand where they were, what was changing, and what might come next.
And I've been thinking about how much we still need that kind of orientation in our own lives.
Because we have GPS.
Calendars.
Endless information at our fingertips.
And yet there are moments when none of it answers the question:
Where do I go from here?
I've experienced this myself.
Times when I had a plan, plenty of options and lots of advice — yet something deeper was asking me to listen differently.
When I entered the Akashic Records during those times, the guidance rarely came as a dramatic prediction.
It was often a pattern.
Something I was trying to force.
Something I had already outgrown.
A desire that kept returning.
Or a quiet knowing I'd dismissed because it didn't fit the plan I'd made.
The Records gave me perspective — helping me become quiet enough to notice what was already there.
And perhaps you're in a season like that too.
Maybe something is ending.
Maybe something new is beginning, but you can't see it yet.
Maybe you're wondering whether to keep pursuing something or stop forcing it.
Or perhaps you simply have that quiet feeling:
“Something is shifting. I just don't know what.”
Ancient sky watchers couldn't control the stars.
They couldn't force the seasons to change.
They learned to observe.
And perhaps there's something in that for us.
Because sometimes we become so focused on making something happen that we stop asking:
What season am I actually in?
Maybe something is rising.
Maybe something is setting.
Maybe something is dormant.
Maybe something is still being cultivated.
Maybe you're trying to harvest something that hasn't finished growing.
I've seen this repeatedly in my own life and in my work with clients.
Sometimes what looks like being stuck is actually a period of integration.
Sometimes what looks like needing a new direction is actually a need to recover your energy and rebuild trust in yourself.
And sometimes we're waiting for a sign about something our body has already been telling us through tension, relief, resistance or expansion.
Perhaps the question isn't:
“When will this happen?”
Perhaps it's:
“What is this season asking me to notice?”
That question sits at the heart of this month's Group Akashic Meditation.

Before you decide what needs to happen next, pause for a moment and ask yourself:
What season of life am I actually in?
What might I be trying to force that needs more time?
What have I already outgrown but am still holding onto?
What keeps quietly asking for my attention?
You don't always need to know the whole path.
Sometimes you just need enough clarity to recognise where you are now
