Beautiful Soul,
Two nights ago, I had a dream that stayed with me long after I woke.
I found myself standing at a quiet railway station in India.
On one of the benches sat a young girl.
She wasn't distressed.
She wasn't searching for anyone.
She simply sat there... waiting.
When I gently asked what she was waiting for, she looked at me and said,
"I'm waiting for my parents to come."
It was such a simple moment.
Yet something about it felt deeply familiar.
Not because I believed the dream was predicting the future, but because over the years I've met countless versions of that young girl through the Akashic Records.
People waiting until they're more confident.
More healed.
More certain.
More financially secure.
Waiting until the right relationship arrives.
Waiting until someone finally gives them permission to choose themselves.
And it reminded me of something important.
There is a profound difference between a sacred pause and waiting for life to begin.
A sacred pause is alive.
It honours healing.
Rest.
Grief.
Integration.
It allows you to move at a pace that feels true for your nervous system, your heart, and your soul.
Waiting feels different.
It quietly says,
"I'll begin when..."
When life becomes easier.
When I'm more ready.
When someone chooses me.
When everything finally falls into place.
One honours your timing.
The other quietly hands your life over to circumstances outside of you.
That distinction has become one of the greatest lessons the Akashic Records continue to teach me.
It's also what inspired this new blog post.
In it, I explore why so many of us find ourselves waiting without realising it, what the Akashic Records reveal about the stories beneath that waiting, and how we can begin moving forward with greater awareness, compassion, and self-trust.
